The interviews conducted with my three users provided very helpful insight on the gaming experience could be improved for my target audience. The feedback I mainly received involved the ways I can maintain my audience’s attention through the implementation of more interactive components to my game.
As of now, I am working on creating the interactive mazes the player completes through the series of coding challenges. I am currently in the process of making the maze as a Graphical User Interface (GUI) using Java, but I am running into some major debugging issues. As I was presenting my “prototype-in-progress”, one of my classmates with a background in Computer Science suggested I stick with my main plan of using HTML, CSS, and javascript for improved accessibility and ease of implementation. If I do not make significant progress soon, I plan to switch back to my original platform in hopes stay on track with deadlines
